1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about you between visits. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for the same purposes. In this policy we refer to all of them as "cookies".

2. Cookies we use

IGSender uses only the minimum number of cookies needed to make the Service work. Specifically:

Authentication cookies — set by Firebase Authentication to keep you signed in across page loads. Without these, you would have to log in on every page.
Session storage — temporary data such as your selected campaign tab or UI preferences. Cleared when you close the tab.
Local storage — your theme preference, dismissed onboarding banners, and similar settings.
Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics (through Firebase) to count visits and page views so we can see which parts of the Service are actually used. See section 4.
Payment gateway cookies — set by Razorpay or Stripe on their checkout pages to protect against fraud and enable payment processing. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.

3. No third-party advertising

We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or selling your data to advertisers. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers on our site.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to understand how the Service is used in aggregate — which pages are visited and which features are most popular. It sets cookies such as _ga to tell one visit from another.

Signed-in activity is linked only to your internal account identifier — we never send your name, email address or Instagram handle to Google Analytics. The data is used for product decisions only: it is never sold, and we do not enable advertising or retargeting features on it.

5. How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that blocking essential cookies (such as authentication cookies) will prevent you from staying signed in to IGSender. Most browsers also offer a private/incognito mode that does not retain cookies between sessions.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be notified inside the Service.
